Project Coordinator – Dublin

ICT Services are currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator based on our client site in Dublin Airport. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in coordinating IT projects and working closely with IT Engineers and Project Managers. The successful candidate should have experience in a managed services environment and a strong understanding of how to successfully deliver managed services to customers while also helping to develop this side of the business.

Position description

Role:

ICT Services are currently recruiting for a Project Co-ordinator based on our client site in Dublin 8. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the support of the successful execution of multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the project manager with coordination on large or complex projects.
  • Scheduling & management of all stages of project lifecycle across multiple, simultaneous projects.
  • Management of all project issues, actions, risks & dependencies through to resolution
  • Frequent distribution of project status updates to all relevant stakeholders
  • Maintenance of project plan & compilation of meeting minutes
  • Assist with preparation & control of project budget to help ensure delivery against financial targets.
  • Oversee adherence to project Statement of Work (SOW) with Change Management process as required.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are sufficiently informed, engaged & supportive throughout project lifecycle with escalation as necessary.
  • Independently leads small- to mid-size customer implementations and projects.
  • Works with cross-functional project team members to define, sequence and estimate activities and duration.
  • Coordinates resources, equipment and parts for assigned projects.
  • Assembles and directs the project team to stay within the target margin or budgeted cost.
  • Documents, updates and maintains subcontractor information including address, phone numbers, performance and certification information.
  • Provides user support to ensure customer expectations are met / exceeded.
  • Serves as focal point for assigned customers, addressing questions, issues and concerns.
  • Monitors metrics and reports on progress, issues and status
  • Alternate weekend telephone support required split between PMO.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience and or proven experience in supporting and running hardware delivery projects, understanding of Project management methodologies from a project delivery perspective , running small – medium projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management for both customer and suppliers.
  • Track record of effective project delivery
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications and Excel is a must
  • Attention to detail, strong organizations skills and ability to work independently and in teams and ability to run efficient and engaging meetings with teams and stakeholders.
