Field Network Engineer – Cork

ICT Services is currently hiring for a Field Service Engineer to join our Team in the Derry area.

Position description

We’re hiring a hands-on Field Network Engineer to be the dedicated onsite engineer for a global pharma/medtech client, covering 3 sites in Cork. You’ll work with a remote NOC and network team behind you.

What you’ll do

  • Break-fix and RMA hardware swaps, IOS upgrades and testing
  • Rack and stack routers, switches and firewalls, plus MACDs
  • Fibre and copper cabling and cable tracing
  • Wireless site surveys
  • Visio diagrams and site documentation
  • Troubleshoot LAN/WAN/WLAN and liaise with the NOC, telcos and vendors

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years in a hands-on network or field engineering role
  • CCNA (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong Cisco routing and switching
  • Bilingual: [language TBC]
  • Full-time onsite in Cork
