Network Engineer – Dublin

ICT Services is currently looking for a Network Support Engineer to work onsite with one of our customers in Dublin. This role will see the successful candidate working on the management and improvement of the customer's network working closely with the customer in order to attend his business needs while maintaining service level quality of network infrastructure and its components.

ICT Services is currently looking for a Network Engineer to work onsite with one of our customers in Dublin.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2/3 support for the corporate network and customer network
  • Experience with some of the industry’s next-generation firewall solutions from Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, etc.
  • Cisco/Juniper/Palo Alto routing, switching
  • IP routing protocols including BGP, OSPF
  • Network capacity planning, performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Resolve operational issues involving Firewalls, routers, switches in a multi-vendor environment

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with passionate attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritizing multiple objectives and initiatives
  • A desire and ease in establishing credibility with fellow engineers through mutually deep technical skill sets
  • A desire and ease in establishing credibility with non-technical leaders via excellent communication skills and business acumen
  • Deep-seated Professional and business focused attitude
  • Steadfast customer service oriented with an eager desire to interact with clients, staff, and management teams

Essential skills:

  • Cisco routing & switching
  • Cisco VPNs
  • Experience with any firewall brand
  • Experience with any managed wifi
