Network Solarwinds Engineer – Remote, Limerick

ICT Services are currently seeking a Desktop Support Engineer, working on one of our customer sites in Sligo. This is a full-time position working onsite with our customer.

Position description

ICT Services is currently looking for a Network/Solarwinds Engineer to work with one of our customers in Limerick. This role is a 12 months contract initially, fully remote with the expectation to go onsite 1-2 days a month.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the merging of 2 solarwinds instances.

Responsibilities:

  • Working in SolarWinds
  • Maintenance and updating of Network Management Platforms
  • Maintain and improve documentation of customers’ network environments
  • Network Switches & Commands
  • Switch Administration
  • Working as part of the wider network team supporting project delivery and business objectives
  • Network Performance Monitor (Building views and/or reports for Device/Interface and Global metrics.
  • Network Configuration Manager (Network compliance, Network automation, Configuration backup and Vulnerability assessment),
  • Network Traffic Analyzer (Building views for Site Operations and Global metrics)

Requirements:

  • CCNA or CCNP certified
  • A relevant ICT qualification and/or relevant ICT certification
  • Network Management
  • Switching & Routing
  • WLAN, VLAN & WAN
  • Network Database Management
