ICT Services are currently seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer, working on one of our customer sites in Limerick. This is a full-time position working onsite with our customer.

Enthusiasm, willingness to learn and a can-do attitude are more important than technical proficiency for this role, though a keen interest in honing IT skills is important.

A pathway to advancing further is available with scope to perform more technical Deskside activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Build dual stand monitors
  • Set up new desks with appropriate IT equipment/cabling
  • Check printers working with daily health check
  • Perform laptop imaging tasks
  • Help IT Asset Management with deliveries/stock checks
  • Assisting in Monthly Stocktakes of Hardware & Consumables Equipment
  • Logging Service Now tickets
  • Managing the consumables dropbox
  • Recovery of equipment from leavers

Requirements:

  • A proactive and customer focused attitude to support. Customer Support is what differentiates our company from others.
  • A recent graduate or with a few years’ experience.
  • Able to self-motivate and self-teach.
