Inventory Technician – Limerick

ICT Services is an Irish owned independent IT solutions provider operating primarily in commercial, financial and state organizations. We are currently recruiting for a Inventory Technician to work onsite with our client in Raheen, Limerick.

Candidate needs to be policy and process focused. Will be working in a stock room setting and must be able to work self-sufficiently and be a team player. Have a “Will Do” attitude and work to streamline processes while staying focused on the Clients processes already in place.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
  • Adhere to all client processes and procedures.
  • Become the point of contact with all that is ITAM related for Raheen office.
  • Work with other team members to execute all ITAM functions.
  • Work with Deskside and On-site Clients and cultivate a streamlined process. that adheres to all client Processes and procedures.
  • Using Service Now Ticketing System Assign new and used hardware.
  • Fulfill tickets for hardware requests (consumables) and update CMDB.
  • Coordinate with onsite shipping to ensure timely pickups of equipment to be delivered throughout the campus / offsite.
  • Receive returns from field and Deskside.
  • Hardware Asset Retrieval of Assets from End-user and place on Asset Hold.
  • Sort hardware based on make and model.
  • Segregate hardware based on condition and update status in CMDB.
  • Ensure deployable hardware is clean and ready for redeployment.
  • Restock inventory shelves.
  • Perform Monthly physical count of new/in stock hardware and provide report.
  • Generating Weekly Pending Repair/ Asset Hold / Reports.
  • Update outstanding tickets on a daily basis with accurate descriptions of why the ticket has yet to be processed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in asset management or related field (internship experience may be considered)
  • Knowledge of asset management / inventory principles and best practices
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
