Finance Manager – Dublin

ICT Services are currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator based on our client site in Dublin Airport. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in coordinating IT projects and working closely with IT Engineers and Project Managers. The successful candidate should have experience in a managed services environment and a strong understanding of how to successfully deliver managed services to customers while also helping to develop this side of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate management accounts to tight deadlines, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and associated reporting.
  • Month-End Close: Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, analysing variances and providing actionable insights.
  • Business Partnering: Liaise with Business Leaders on mission P&L variances and assist with reports to monitor performance metrics.
  • Tax Compliance: Oversee tax compliance activities, including VAT returns, corporation tax, and other statutory filings.
  • Audit Preparation: Coordinate and prepare for internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and readily available.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Expense Management: Monitor and control company expenses, ensuring all expenditures are within budget and properly authorized.
  • Systems and Processes: Maintain and enhance financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure financial information is accurately captured and reported.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a financial accounting role, preferably within the IT or managed services sector.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero). Advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough understanding of Irish accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
