Deskside Support Engineer – Limerick 

ICT Services are looking for an enthusiastic Level 1 Deskside Support Technician to join us on a contract basis, supporting one of our key client sites in Limerick.

The Role

You’ll be the first point of contact for IT support queries, logging tickets, troubleshooting issues and escalating where needed. This is a hands-on role covering both on-site and remote desktop support.

Responsibilities

  • Answering inbound support calls and requests
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software and application issues
  • Logging and updating tickets in a helpdesk system
  • Providing desktop support — both on-site and remotely
  • Escalating unresolved issues to senior engineers

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365 and Active Directory
  • Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work within SLAs
  • IT qualification or equivalent experience an advantage

This is an entry-level contract role — recent graduates and candidates with hands-on or academic IT experience are encouraged to apply.
