Deployment Engineers – Cork, Limerick

ICT Services is seeking skilled Deployment Engineers to join our team in the South for a nationwide software and Windows 11 upgrade project for 3-4 months to start on 14th of August. This role involves hands-on deployment and troubleshooting to ensure seamless software integration and upgrade on ATMs and PCs across branches in South of Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hardware Setup: Connect and configure keyboards and other peripherals to PCs linked with ATMs.
  • Software Installation: Load and install required software, including Windows 11, onto designated PCs.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve any hardware or software issues encountered during the deployment process.
  • Testing and Verification: Conduct post-installation testing to ensure systems are functioning correctly and meet operational standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installation processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT support teams and project managers to ensure successful deployment and issue resolution.
  • Travel: Travel to various bank locations within your region to perform on-site installations and support.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in hardware setup, software installation, and troubleshooting in a professional environment.
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems, particularly Windows 11, and familiarity with banking software.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable to drive with own vehicle to site locations within the region assigned
