Senior Deskside Engineer – Dublin

Working on one of our customer sites, this is a fast-paced and rapidly changing business environment which requires an individual with an energetic and enthusiastic approach, along with maturity, self-confidence and self-motivation.


  • Providing support to the clients physical and virtual servers, applications, SAN storage and Network along with desktop support to end users.
  • Computer builds, rollouts and decommissions
  • Inventory Management and purchasing (e.g. desktops, laptops)
  • Compliance with standard operating procedure (SOP)
  • Compliance with change control procedure
  • Working with local and remote teams (e.g. network and firewall teams)
  • Working and engaging with 3rd party vendors (e.g. application vendors)
  • 24/7 On call support

    Responsibility for ongoing support, monitoring and management of:
    • Microsoft patch management
    • Back-up and restore management
    • Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012
    • Server hardware
    • SAN Management
    • Active Directory


  • 5+ years of experience in a deskside support role
  • Windows Server experience required
  • VmWare exposure would be an advantage
  • Good customer skills
