IT Sales Consultant – Dublin Based

This role is for a self-motivator with a minimum of three years sales experience in IT Services, Technology and Solution sales. He/she should be a sales person first and foremost with a with a proven track record. As ICT Services continue to grow, we will be looking for this person to grow with us.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate the attention to detail that is required to be able to deliver to this level with relevant experience. They will need to quickly gain a technical understanding of our client’s portfolio to be able to tailor offerings to meet business, technical and service requirements of customers.

They will need to stay abreast of market developments and apply their knowledge to ensure continued evolution of their sales strategy and approach to ensure they achieve success. As we offer a diverse product and services range, it will be important for the consultant to always be aware of the opportunity to cross sell our products or services.

A big part of this role will be to identify and target new customers. Adding to our already strong customer base is vital in our continued growth and will be a key factor in the consultants success in the role.


  • Previous field sales experience minimum 3+ years
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment with minimum supervision
  • Excellent knowledge of the Irish IT market with sufficient business, technical and service understanding to support the creation of new solutions and services
  • Formal sales training and/or accreditation achieved during career to date
  • A full, clean driving license
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Organized and tenacious
  • Multi-tasking and time management abilities
  • The ability to understand customers diverse and specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs
  • Experience in developing effective sales plans using sales methodology
  • Identifying and developing new business though networking and follow-up calls
  • Maintaining awareness and keeping abreast of constantly changing software and hardware systems and peripherals
