Financial Controller – Dublin

ICT Services are currently seeking a Desktop Support Engineer, working on one of our customer sites in Sligo. This is a full-time position working onsite with our customer.

ICT Services is currently looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our team here in Dublin 12.

The successful candidate will be managing the finance team with overall responsibility for all group financial and accounting activities. You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director on all financial matters and providing input in the strategic and commercial planning for the group.


  • Responsible for the overall financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control of the business.
  • Manage and control the entire finance and accounting function
  • Advise the board and managing director on financial matters as required
  • Report to the managing director with timely and accurate financial information
  • Drive financial and KPI reporting improvements
  • Preparation of annual financial plan and forecasting
  • Supply of financial data input in the preparation of tender documentation
  • Review and advise on customer contracts, profitability analysis etc. and provide contract negotiation support where necessary
  • Produce financial reports & provide insight to support business growth
  • Own and deliver the annual statutory reporting process and oversee the relationship with external auditors
  • Ensure the company meets all its financial deadlines and financial statutory obligations.
  • Manage communications with tax authorities and work with tax advisors to ensure group tax compliance
  • Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost-reduction opportunities, and help drive through margin improvement initiatives
  • Design and implement improved processes and systems as needed
  • Any other ad hoc management responsibilities as they arise


  • Fully qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA Accountant
  • Minimum of 5+ years post qualification combined accounting and finance experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years in a similar position
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Experience in managing finance teams in an industry setting
  • Experience in implementing new accounting systems and processes
  • Experience in project-based accounting

Desirable skills and technologies:

  • SAGE (Line 50)
  • Experience with project recording systems
  • Experience working in an IT services organisation
  • Experience with HRlocker or similar HR management system
